A mail forwarding order redirects eligible mail still addressed to your old address to your new address for the selected term. This helps important letters and other eligible items reach you after a move. Update important senders directly as well, since not every type of mail can be forwarded. We are an independent service provider, not an official Deutsche Post AG service.
Your order becomes active no earlier than the 6th working day after you place it. You can select the exact start date when ordering, including a later date. Please allow for this lead time so forwarding can begin when planned.

To place an order, you need your name or company name, your old and new addresses, the requested start date, and an email address for confirmation. Include everyone whose mail should be forwarded. Check the address details carefully so forwarded items can be matched to your new address.
You can choose a term of 6 or 12 months. Forwarding ends automatically when the selected term expires.
A private order can include up to 12 people: the main recipient and up to 11 additional people. Include everyone whose mail should be forwarded in the same order.
Yes, you can provide a P.O. box as the old or new address. If the order is for a P.O. box, you must also provide your actual street address.
You can optionally activate the free relocation notice. It allows selected contractual and communication partners, such as banks or insurers, to be informed of your new address. This option is voluntary and can be selected when placing your order.
Yes, forwarding to an address abroad is included. Enter your complete new address and destination country in the order.
Once your order has been successfully set up, we will send a confirmation to the email address provided in the order. Check your spam folder if needed.
No, parcels are not forwarded as part of this mail forwarding order. Deutsche Post AG no longer offers parcel forwarding.
